With our first round of high school entrance preparation workshops approaching, we would like to share a testimonial with you from a parent whose very much looking forward to having her son participate!
"Taking such a lengthy exam for the first time can be a nerve-racking experience for a 5th grader. I thought that the best way of helping that sense of feeling anxious is for him to educate himself about what to expect from the test.
I enrolled my son in the CAT exam in order to be able to define his strengths and weaknesses so that we can prepare him in the areas he needs to focus on for the exam. I then also enrolled him in the 2-day workshop so that he can have a concrete understanding on how the exam is set up and how to be prepared for certain questions as well as how to handle time constraints.
My son had a great experience for the CAT exam. He was surprised by the amount of time it took. Needless to say, better be surprised now than later. We are looking forward to the workshops in order to have more insight on what is involved in the preparation".
