Every parent who walks through our door has already tried. More practice. More patience. More tutoring. And still: homework in tears, confidence eroding, and a child who’s starting to believe the story that they’re just not smart enough.
That story is wrong. And we’ve spent 37 years proving it.
At Strategic Learning Clinic, we are the guide your family has been looking for. We don’t add more of what hasn’t worked. We start by finding what others missed- the specific, identifiable gap that’s been standing between your child and the learner they already are. Then we fix it.
When the right problem is solved in the right way, children change. Not slowly, not marginally. They change in ways that last. The child who hated reading finally picks up a book. The one who dreaded school starts walking in with confidence. The future you were afraid to hope for becomes the one they’re actually living.
That’s what we’re here for. Not just to close a learning gap, but to give your child back the belief that they can.
Our History
In 1989, Karen Foley co-founded Strategic Learning Clinic as a response to parents’ need for an alternative to standard tutoring methods.

We conduct an initial consultation where we review your child’s personal and academic background, developmental milestones, and past and current learning difficulties.
Evaluate
If needed, we recommend an evaluation of your child's academic and cognitive skills so that we can develop the right solution to address their learning challenges.
Develop
We create and implement a customized education plan that suits your child’s learning needs.
Monitor
We re-evaluate and monitor your child’s progress regularly to ensure their success in and out of school.
